The Pawsitive Care Foundation's Animal Shelters Support Program is designed to bridge the gap between limited resources and the growing number of animals in need. We partner with shelters and rescue organizations across the country to provide nutritional supplies, educational resources, and wellness services.
With over 4,000 shelters in the U.S. and more than 3,233 shelters in Europe, our goal is to create a supportive network that elevates the standard of care for animals awaiting their forever homes. By addressing both immediate needs and long-term wellness, we're helping shelters provide the best possible care.

THE PROCESS
How Our Support Program Works
Step 1: Apply
Animal shelters and rescue organizations submit an application detailing their needs, mission, and the animals they serve. Our goal is to understand how we can best support each unique organization.
Step 2: Assessment
Our team reviews applications and works directly with shelters to assess their specific needs and challenges. We develop a customized support plan based on this assessment.
Step 3: Implementation
Once approved, shelters receive their tailored support package, which may include nutritional supplies, educational resources, and access to our veterinary network, all designed to address their specific needs.
Step 4: Ongoing Support
Our relationship doesn't end with initial support. We provide ongoing assistance, regular check-ins, and additional resources as needed to ensure long-term success for the shelter and the animals in their care.
Step 5: Community Building
Supported shelters become part of our larger network, gaining access to shared resources, collaborative opportunities, and a community of like-minded organizations committed to animal welfare.
